The GS07 can be connected to a Leica CS20 field controller which is powered by Leica Captivate field software and interfaces with Leica Infinity office software to continue and expand the Leica Captivate Experience. The GS07 only has capabilities of a GNSS RTK rover in conjunction to the CS20 as opposed to the GS16 which can be flexibly used as a rover, with 3rd party solutions and a base station and although the same quality as premium solutions, it carries a lower level of functionality making the GS07 a more affordable option.

The design of the GS07 is very light, weighing in at 0.7 kg making it the lightest GNSS smart antenna in its class. The GS07 offers 320 channels. It comes with multi-frequency (L1, L2, L5) and multi-constellation (GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS). It has connectivity to Leica Captivate and the CS20 field controller. It also supports expansion of communication devices such as the Satel CGR4 UHF radio which is fully integrated in the CS20.
